About Goose & Glove Woodworks

My name is Sam.

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating High School, I continued my education and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Science. With that I followed my dream of becoming an Airline Captain. I've been flying since 2010 and have always had hobbies in between flying. Music, Drawing, Sports, etc... But after slowing down on the flying and growing in a new position as a Flight Simulator Instructor / Training Department Management, and fully renovating my house... It was during that time that I found that building things was surely one of my new favorite hobbies. So I figured to share my hobby with friends and family and began building and making them gifts until it was suggested to try to make a business out of it.

Above all of my hobbies, my pets are one of best parts of my life. I have 3 ferrets - Elmo, Goose, and Deezy. Along with a Great Pyrenees named Ripp. Since Goose is always with me when I'm building things, always stealing things, and has always been my little wingman, it was only fitting to dedicate the name of my Woodworking business to him.

 

My goal with my business is to provide people with products that they want to come to life. People can spend countless hours online looking for the perfect gift... But why do that when you can have something custom made. Exactly how you envisioned it.

All my products are homemade with precision and love. My products leave my shop as if they were created for my own family and friends. I hope you find time to review product designs I have created and reach out with any customizations or trust me with a vision that you have. I like a challenge and doing new things.
